About Us

   Once upon a time there was a much loved and very frank aspiring princess named Lilly.  Lilly was not even 2, but loved addressing her subjects.  As she prattled on about everything Daddy, it became very clear he was the King of her heart, especially while at the office.  She paused only a moment to proclaim, " Mommy does the laundry!"  The Mommy in question, who cast herself more in the role of ever young and always calm, cool, and collected Queen, was shocked to be described more along the lines of Cinderella.

   In flip flops (glass slippers and toddlers don't mix) and with the family SUV as a coach, the Mommy wisked away the fair Lilly straight to the county of Fairfax.  Armed with only 1 diaper, no wipes, and a half a sippy cup of water, the pair set off to seek their fortune. Two wrong turns and a stroller meets metal detector incident later, with the wave a wand Lilly's Pad was born. OK, even a fairytale government office works at a snail's pace, but the pair made it home before turning into pumpkins! And now Princess Lilly "God blesses" Lilly's Pad each night, and the Mommy sewed happily ever after! We'll save any stories of kissing frogs or princes until Princess Lilly is much, much older and wiser.
